About UPPBMPI
We are a group of potato farmers in Benguet and Mountain Province that organized the UPPBMPI in 2019 to unify our goal of developing the potato industry and improve the lives of potato farmers. Our organization is a recipient of the Universal Robina Corporation s Potato Seeds Distribution Project, through which we received Canadian potato seeds that we planted.
A total of 60 hectares are being used for this potato growing project, and for the last three years, our organization has harvested about two tons of potatoes both for commercial and seed purposes.
